Zenless Zone Zero Soldier 11 Overview

Welcome to our Zenless Zone Zero Soldier 11 guide. We’ll cover everything you need to know about her skills, builds, teams, and more.

Soldier 11 is an S-Rank Agent from the OBOLS Faction, with the Fire Attribute and Attack Fighting Style. She is a “Standard” S-Rank, meaning she can be obtained from the Stable Channel or the Exclusive Channel. For more info, check out our full ZZZ Gacha System Guide.

Soldier 11 is very unique compared to other Attack Agents. By timing her attacks correctly, you can have her Basic Attacks deal Fire DMG instead of Physical DMG. This is her Fire Suppression mechanic.

With good timing, Soldier 11 can deal very good damage. However, missing the timing or having to dodge enemy mechanics can make this more cumbersome than worthwhile.

If you’re the player that enjoys more of a challenge, Soldier 11 is the perfect Agent for you. For those that want a more chill time pressing buttons, you may want to consider other Agents.

When it comes to building Soldier 11, it’s mostly the same as any other Attack Agent. You want lots of Crit and ATK, with PEN on the side.

    Soldier 11 Best W-Engines

    The_Brimstone

    The Brimstone

    ATK: 53/684 | ATK: 12%/30%
Upon hitting an enemy with a Basic Attack, Dash Attack, or Dodge Counter, the equipper’s ATK increases by 3.5/4.4/5.2/6/7% for 8s, stacking up to 8 times. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.
    Deep_Sea_Visitor

    Deep Sea Visitor

    ATK: 55/713 | Crit Rate: 9.6%/24%
Increases Ice DMG by 25/31.5/38/44.5/50%. Upon hitting an enemy with a Basic Attack, the equipper’s CRIT Rate increases by 10/12.5.15/17.5/20% for 8s. When dealing Ice DMG with a Dash Attack, the equipper’s CRIT Rate increases by an additional 10/12.5.15/17.5/20%for 15s. The duration of each effect is calculated separately.

In ZZZ, every Agent has a “signature weapon.” This weapon matches the aesthetic of the Agent and provides a synergistic passive. For Soldier 11, her signature weapon is The Brimstone.

This Engine provides a ton of ATK, and even more ATK when hitting enemies with Basic/Dash/Counter. While this Engine is very good, it likely provides too much ATK.

Let’s look at Ellen’s Engine, Deep Sea Visitor. Firstly, this Engine provides a Crit Rate Main Stat, which is very powerful. Secondly, while you won’t get the bonus Ice DMG passive, you still will get an extra 10% Crit Rate when using Basic Attack.

The uptime for Deep Sea Visitor is also close to 100%, while The Brimstone has a bit of a ramp up. Overall, you can either look to have 58% ATK or 34% Crit Rate. Both are strong, but Ellen’s may be more impactful late game.

Ellen’s Engine also has slightly higher Base ATK, which is notable as well.

If you don’t have either of these S-Rank Engines, you can always use an A-Rank like Cannon Rotor (Battle Pass) or Starlight Engine (Free).

Soldier 11 Best Drive Disc Builds

    Disk Drive Inferno Metal S

    Inferno Metal

(2): Increases Fire DMG by 10%.
(4): Upon hitting a Burning enemy, the equipper’s CRIT Rate is increased by 28% for 8s.
    Disk Drive Woodpecker Electro S

    Woodpecker Electro

(2): Increases CRIT Rate by 8%.
(4): Triggering a critical hit with a Basic Attack, Dodge Counter or EX Special Attack increases the equippers ATK by 9% for 6s. The buff duration for different skills are calculated separately.

When it comes to Disk Drive sets, both Inferno Metal and Woodpecker Electro are strong options for a 4-piece bonus. In general, we recommend Inferno Metal since the 28% Crit Rate should outweigh the 27% ATK buff.

Soldier 11 also has an easy time Burning enemies with her Fire Suppression. If you want to min-max her stats, her best set will depend on what weapon you’re using.

For example, if you have The Brimstone, you really want Crit Stats on your Drives since you already have a lot of ATK%. If you’re using Deep Sea Visitor, you can consider swapping out Woodpecker Electro (2) for Hormone Punk (2) for the 10% ATK instead.

Overall, the difference won’t be that major. You can even run Woodpecker (4) with Inferno Metal (2) if you want to be more efficient by farming Woodpecker for multiple characters.

    Soldier 11 Drive Disc Stats

When it comes to Substats, it’s more of the same. Crit DMG likely will be preferred over Crit Rate since Soldier 11 has access to a lot of Crit Rate. However, it depends on your account and what Engine/Substats you have.

    Main Stats

    • (4) Crit Rate/Crit DMG
    • (5) Fire DMG%
    • (6) ATK%

    Sub-stats

    1. Crit Rate/Crit DMG
    2. ATK%
    3. PEN/Flat ATK

    Soldier 11 Skill Priority

Core Passive (Talents) > Basic > Ultimate = Special > Dodge > Assist

A large majority of your damage will be with your Basic Attacks, but your Ultimate and Special will contribute a lot as well. Dodge Attack is also nice for some extra damage. Assist isn’t a big priority, and you can likely skip upgrading this until later to save on resources.

Zenless Zone Zero Soldier 11 Teams

    Mono Fire

Zenless Zone Zero Mono Fire Team

    Soldier 11, Koleda, Ben

When it comes to teams, the standout team is definitely the Mono Fire team. Koleda will be your Stun Agent, and Ben is a Defense Agent with a small Crit Rate buff in his kit.

Ben is a free Agent that everyone gets, but this team does require Koleda, another S-Rank Agent to reach it’s full potential. If you have Lucy, you can also replace Ben for her ATK buff. This will decrease Koleda’s damage, but her role as a Stun/Daze Agent will still be effective.

    Soldier 11 Disorder

Zenless Zone Zero Piper Fire Team

    Soldier 11, Lucy, Piper

The second type of team omits a Stun Agent and uses Piper (Anomaly) instead. With this team, you’re looking to proc Disorder by triggering Burn (Fire Anomaly) and Assault (Physical Anomaly).

Even though Soldier 11 doesn’t have high Anomaly stats, she does build up a decent amount of Fire Anomaly through her Fire Suppression.

Assault and Disorder should also proc a bit of Daze, which helps alleviate the issue of not having a Stun Agent. One last issue with this team is that Soldier 11 deals more damage to Stunned enemies. This incentivizes you to run a Stun Agent, but not every account will have both Soldier 11 and Koleda.

    Soldier 11 F2P Team

    Zenless Zone Zero F2P Team

    Soldier 11, Anby, Ben

Lastly, we have a F2P team if you aren’t fortunate enough to pull characters like Koleda/Piper. For this team, Anby won’t have her Additional Ability. This unfortunately means that she will apply less Daze.

Even still, this team is still functional and strong, covering all the bases needed for a strong team. Anby and Ben are both free characters, so you if you pull Soldier 11, this team will be easy to build.

    In Conclusion

Zenless Zone Zero Soldier 11 Thumbnail

This wraps up our complete Zenless Zone Zero Soldier 11 guide. Of the Attack characters in the game, Soldier 11 has very competitive damage. However, she requires more precise attack timing, which can be a negative for some players.

For some, the challenge will be rewarding, so it ultimately depends on you and your preference. As of right now, Soldier 11’s best team requires 2 S-Rank Agents, but many of the current top teams require similar Agents.

You can make do with lower rarity Agents like Ben/Anby, and her team flexibility may improve in the future. As the only member of OBOL squad, Soldier 11 is very tied to other Fire Agents.

As more Agents come out, Soldier 11 can become more flexible or even stronger.
