    Zenless Zone Zero Rina Overview

Welcome to our Zenless Zone Zero Rina guide, where we cover everything you need to know about her skills, builds, teams, and more.

Rina, or Alexandrina Sebastiane, is an S-Rank Agent from the Victoria Housekeeping Company Faction, with the Electric Attribute and Support Fighting Style. She is a Standard agent, meaning you can get her from any character banner, such as the Stable Channel or Exclusive Channel. For more info, check out our full Gacha System Guide.

While it’s still early in the game’s release, Rina has quickly impressed lots of players as one of the best S-Rank Agents in the ZZZ meta. As a Support, she provides PEN Ratio to the entire team, which is a strong offensive stat for everyone.

You can also swap out of many of Rina’s animations, letting her deal “off-field” damage. At M1 (duplicate), she turns into a true off-field unit as well.

Lastly, her Support Specialty allows you to quickly swap into different characters after her Skill, making her a strong Agent for a variety of teams.

Zenless Zone Zero Rina Build Guide Overview

Zenless Zone Zero Rina Build Feature

    • Weeping Cradle
    • Slice of Time
    • Swing Jazz (4)
    • Puffer Electro (2)
    Main Stat Substats
    • (4) ATK%/Anomaly Proficiency
    • (5) PEN Ratio
    • (6) Energy Regen/Anomaly Mastery
    • PEN
    • Anomaly Proficiency
    • ATK%

Since Rina’s supportive capabilities hinge on PEN Ratio, we want to scale this up as much as possible through gear. After that, you can have small increases in personal damage with stats like ATK%, Anomaly, and flat PEN.

    Rina Best W-Engines

    Weeping_Cradle

    Weeping Cradle

    ATK: 53/684 | PEN ratio: 9.6%/24%
While off-field, Energy Regen increases by 0.6/0.75/0.9/1.05/1.2 per second. Attacks from the equipper enhance the squad’s DMG against a struck target by 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% for 3 seconds. During this period, this effect is further increased by 1.7/2/2.5/3/3.3% every 0.5s, up to a maximum additional increase of 10.2/12/15/18/19.8%. Repeated triggers only refresh its duration without refreshing the DMG increase effect. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.
    Slice_of_Time

    Slice of Time

    ATK: 46/594 | PEN ratio: 8%/20%
Any squad members’ Dodge Counter, EX Special Attack, Assist Attack, or Chain Attack respectively generates 20/23/26/29/32 (Dodge) | 25/28.5/32/35.5/40 (Special) | 30/34.5/39/43.5/48 (Assist) | 35/40/45/50/55 (Chain) more Decibels and generates 0.7/0.8/0.9/1/1.1 Energy for the equipper. This effect can trigger once every 12s. The cooldown for each type of attack is independent of others. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

For W-Engines, there are only two Support W-Engines that have PEN Ratio as their Main Stat. Weeping Cradle is Rina’s signature weapon, but Slice of Time is a strong A-Rank option as well.

You get a copy of Slice of Time for free by playing the game, so every account should have access to this W-Engine. If you do the Web Event, you’ll be able to get a second copy as well.

    Rina Best Drive Discs

    Disk Drive Swing Jazz S

    Swing Jazz

(2): Energy Regen increases by 20%.
(4): Launching a Chain Attack or Ultimate increases all squad members’ DMG by 15% for 12s. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.
    Disk Drive Puffer Electro S

    Puffer Electro

(2): Increases PEN Ratio by 8%.
(4): Ultimate DMG increases by 20%. Launching an Ultimate increases the equippers ATK by 15% for 12s.

When it comes to Drive Discs, Swing Jazz and Puffer Electro are our biggest recommendations. Swing Jazz is the best Support set in the game, and every team should have at least 1. (for the most part)

For a 2-piece bonus, Puffer Electro is important to get Rina’s PEN Ratio as high as possible. In order to max her buff, you will need 96% PEN Ratio, which is gargantuan.

Depending on your team, you can also look to run sets like Thunder Metal (Personal damage increase) or Freedom Blues (Anomaly Setup).

Overall, we still recommend the Swing Jazz (4) and Puffer Electro (2).

    Rina Drive Disc Stats

Despite being classed as a Support, Rina is very much a DPS-Support mix, and as such, her stat priority builds primarily for damage output, with a focus on Attribute damage.

    Main Stats

    • (4) ATK%/Anomaly Proficiency
    • (5) PEN Ratio
    • (6) Energy Regen/Anomaly Mastery

When it comes to Main Stats, your first priority is Partition V which grants PEN Ratio. This will get you closer to the 96% PEN Ratio needed to max Rina’s buff.

After that, you can look to increase Rina’s personal damage through things like ATK%, Energy Regen, or Anomaly stats. If you’re running Grace in a Mono Electric team, Anomaly stats can be nice to constantly shock enemies.

If you’re running Grace as a general support, you can use ATK% and Energy Regen instead. Lastly, Crit stats are usable on Rina, but not a priority over your main DPS.

    Sub-stats

    1. PEN
    2. Anomaly Proficiency
    3. ATK%

PEN and PEN Ratio both ignore the enemy’s defense, and in general, the more PEN you have, the better it becomes (similar to Crit). As such, flat PEN should represent a solid damage increase for Rina.

After that, we have Anomaly Proficiency and ATK% which are more personal damage stats. These aren’t a priority to optimize in the early game, but you can work on them when you have the resources.

    Rina Skill Priority

Core Passive (Talents) > Special > Ultimate > Basic Attack > Assist > Dodge

As with all Agents, leveling up your Core Passive is the first priority. After that, you’re EX Special and Ultimate will be the moves that provide the most damage. While you won’t use Rina’s Ultimate very often, upgrading it will level up her Chain Attack damage as well.

Basic Attack is a nice upgrade, but not necessary if you don’t use Rina on field much. The same goes for Assist/Dodge. Assist only provides a small bonus to dmg/Daze and Dodge is only applicable if you stay on-field with Rina.

    Zenless Zone Zero Rina Teams

When it comes to teambuilding for Rina, there is actually a solid amount of flexibility. While Rina will definitely shine in more Electric based teams, she can also be used as a general Support for any team that can activate her Additional Ability.

This includes any Agent that is Electric or Victoria Housekeeping.

    Mono Electric

Zenless Zone Zero Mono Electric Team

    Anton, Grace, Rina

This looks to be Rina’s strongest team, making good use of all of her buffs. Anton deals more damage when hitting shocked enemies, and Rina extends the duration of Shock. The PEN Ratio buff will also amplify Anton’s damage.

This is one of the few teams in the current meta that can forgo a Stun Agent. Stun Agents are very important for scaling damage, but Anton’s synergy with Shock semi-bypasses this.

Grace + Rina apply Shock extremely easily and effectively, while Anton comes in as your Burst DPS to unload his Energy Bar.

    Victoria Housekeeping

Zenless Zone Zero Ellen Lycaon Rina Team

    Ellen, Lycaon, Rina

This next team uses Rina as a general Support Agent, and pairs her with her Victoria Housekeeping members. Ellen and Lycaon are both top tier Attack/Stun Agents repsectively, and Rina is an all-purpose Support.

This team uses three S-Rank Agents, which may not be the best use of resources, but it’s a strong team regardless. Most players will use Soukaku over Rina, and you even get a free copy of Soukaku from Shiyu Defense.

Even still, this team is worth mentioning as the three Agents are just that powerful.

    Rina F2P Team

    Anton Anby Rina Team

    Anton, Anby, Rina

Lastly, we have F2P teams that don’t require any S-Rank Agents other than Rina. For this breakdown, you simply want Attack Agent + Stun Agent + Rina.

Anton and Anby are both Electric, so everyone’s Additional Ability will activate. Depending on your account, you can change things up as well.

You can go Corin + Lycaon + Rina, Nekomata + Anby + Rina, Billy + Anby + Rina, etc. While these teams likely won’t outperform the two above, they’re all decent options and will clear story content.

Disorder TeamZenless Zone Zero Disorder Team Piper Grace Rina

    Piper, Grace, Rina

Lastly, we have a Disorder team that utilizes the two Anomaly Agents, Piper and Grace. This team doesn’t use the traditional Stun Agent and instead has Piper + Grace to deal damage through Assault, Shock, and Disorder.

For the third slot on this team, Rina is great to buff up the team and also help shock enemies. The shock duration extend is also nice to ensure you can proc Disorder with Piper.

Lucy is also a fine third Agent on this team, but Rina synergizes a bit better as she helps build up Shock as well.

    In Conclusion

    Zenless Zone Zero Rina Thumbnail

This wraps up our Zenless Zone Zero Rina guide. While she may not deal as much damage as Attack Agents, her supportive capabilities are some of the best in the game.

She can fit into many teams as a general Support, the best Electric Support, or even through Disorder teams. This makes her very flexible and powerful.

In the early game, she may feel underwhelming as she doesn’t deal the most damage herself. However, as you progress, you’ll start to feel the buffing capabilities of her kit.

Thanks for Reading! For more resources, check out our other Zenless Zone Zero Guides.
