    All Wuthering Waves Characters

    This article will list every character in Wuthering Waves. You’ll obtain them through the gacha system, which you can read more about in our Wuthering Waves Gacha System Guide.

    In the game, these characters are referred to as Resonators, with each one having an attribute and weapon type.

    Characters are broken down into 2 rarities: 4-stars and 5-stars. As the name suggests, 5-stars are more difficult to obtain from the gacha system.

    Main Character

    This will be the main character you start the game with. You will also play as them through story cutscenes. As usual, you can pick a male or female MC.

    Free 4-Star Resonators

    With these 4-star Resonators, you will be able to receive one copy for free as you play through the game.

    Yangyang, Chixia, and Baizhi will be given to you early on as you play through the story.

    Sanhua will be a login reward given after 5 days, and Yuanwu will be a reward from the Tower of Adversity.

    4-Star Resonators

    These 4-Star Resonators will be obtained through the Gacha System.

    Permanent 5-Star Resonators

    Permanent 5-Star Resonators are also obtained through the gacha system.

    Firstly, there will be a beginner banner, guaranteeing a 5-Star Resonator after 50 discounted pulls (for the cost of 40).

    After the Novice Banner, you will gain access to a 5-Star Selector banner, where you can pick which Permanent 5-star you want. This will be guaranteed within 80 pulls.

    There will be the permanent character banner that contains these five 5-stars, where you can use your Lustrous Tide after the Novice and Selector Banner.

    Lastly, there will be a 50/50 chance to obtain a Permanent 5-Star Resonator on an Event 5-Star banner.

    Event 5-Star Resonators

    Lastly, we have the Event 5-Star Resonators. These Resonators will only be obtainable when their banner is active, and it can be a while before their banner reruns.

    When pulling for a 5-star, you have a 50/50 chance to obtain the limited character or a Permanent 5-Star Resonator. If your last 5-star was a permanent character, your next 5-star on the limited banner will be guaranteed to be the featured character.
