Our Top 10 Picks for League of Legends Brawl

Brawl is making a comeback on patch 15.19 for the second time in 2025. Brawl is a featured game mode where players face off in a 5v5 PvP game mode. The good thing about this game mode is that it is great for players who don’t have a lot of time to play, as games are quite quick and usually last less than 15 minutes.

The first team that gets the enemy to 0 points from 250, wins the game, so it is a good idea to play strong champions if you want to establish a lead and keep it. In this guide, we will discuss 10 of the best champions you can pick and play in Brawl. Each of these champions works really well on Brawl, and will increase your chances of winning the game. Before we begin, they may not be statistically the best, but they’re really dominant and quite hard to play against. Also, our list is not in any particular order.

    1. Jhin

Sorry to everyone who wanted Jhin to be 4th on our list, but our first recommendation in Brawl is Jhin. Jhin is a fan favourite ADC in League of Legends, and he has been one of the more dominant AD Carries in the past few Seasons.

Jhin has long-range abilities and poke, and as your team will be grouped quite closely, you can land your W and CC any target pretty easily. Similarly, his Ultimate is a great tool that basically covers the whole map, so you’re guaranteed to land your key skills. On the map, there are a lot of paths on the side of the main lane. Jhin can place Traps (E) in those hot spots to help prevent ambushes.

    2. Jinx

Next on our list is Jinx. Jinx is another fan-favourite champion in League of Legends and a poster child for the game. Jinx has been relatively strong on Summoners’ Rift, and after her buffs on patch 15.19, she is even stronger. Jinx needs some time to come online, but once she gets some items and attack speed, she can be a major threat!

She is relatively weak in the first 5 minutes or so, which is quite similar to Summoner’s Rift, but if she can get a kill or a couple of assists from the first skirmish, then she can quickly start to snowball. In this game mode, you need to stand as far back as you can and just auto-attack the nearest enemy champion. As Jinx also has AOE abilities with her Q, you could also look to clear the waves and take all the farm for yourself, which will increase your gold income.

    3. Senna

The third champion on our list is Senna. Senna can be played in multiple ways on Brawl and on Summoners’ Rift; however, her AD build, rather than Support, is far superior in the newest LoL gamemode. If you haven’t given Senna a go in this game mode yet, make sure you do! She can make great use of her Passive to get basically unlimited stacks from champions and minions.

When playing Senna, you’ll want to keep picking up and farming the minions for your team. It is imperative that you do not waste these minions, as you can easily get free gold. To make full use of your Passive, you need to keep auto-attacking the enemy. Preferably, if you can Q the enemy and then auto-attack them, you can get a lot of stacks for free. Your goal on Senna is just to pick up a lot of farm and Passive stacks, and then when the game moves along, you will deal tons of damage.

    4. Brand

Team fighting is very important in Brawl, and that’s why picking a champion who is a strong team fighter with AOE damage could be all the difference. Brand is great in team fights, and as Brawl requires a lot of team fighting, he is a great champion to play! Brand has tons of poke and damage too, which is ideal in this game mode!

As Brand, your goal is just to keep poking and harassing the enemy. You’ll want to make good use of your W>E combo to deal lots of damage to the enemy and keep them low. During the early game, you should also remember to pick up farm, which you can do pretty easily with your W. Make sure that if you’re not team fighting, you’re using your abilities on the minion wave to prevent them from entering your team’s portal.

    Brand Splash 2

    5. Twitch

Twitch is another ADC, and unfortunately, not the last in our top 10 list. Twitch is a fantastic pick due to his strong teamfighting capabilities. His Q allows him to get in and out of team fights: repositioning to get the best angle on his Ultimate to deal tons of AOE damage. Twitch does need time to come online, so don’t be afraid to avoid partaking in every fight.

As soon as the game starts, you should look to fight with your team. Twitch does a lot of damage when he has his E unlocked, and applying a lot of stacks to a target can help your team get early kills. Just keep auto-attacking whoever you can and try to get those early kills in the opening minutes.

    6. Sett

If you like strong all-in champions, then Sett could be the champion for you. His only weakness in this game mode is that he is melee, which allows him to get poked by the enemy, but after the first few minutes, you will become tankier and healthier, enabling him to truly come online.

You need to play around your team in this game mode. You need them to always be in a position to follow up, or else you’re going to go in and get blown up, or you’ll run forward, CC someone and then die instantly. You’ll want to keep a constant eye on where your teammates are and only go in for an aggressive E if your team can follow up and deal damage via auto-attacks or abilities.

    7. Hwei

We are now coming on to the seventh champion, who is arguably one of the hardest champions on our list due to how many combos he has. A benefit of playing Hwei in this game mode is that you could learn what each of his abilities does and how to use his combos effectively- a win-win for everyone!

Hwei’s kit is actually really good in this game mode, as he can land poke quite easily, clear waves with his abilities, and his Ultimate is powerful due to it being an AOE ability, and as teams are usually grouped, he can land it on multiple champions. Hwei should look to make plays and get picks with his abilities. If you can CC anyone, your team can dog-pile on them and take them down quickly.

    Winterblessed Hwei Splash

    8. Aphelios

I would say that Aphelios is the hardest champion on our list. Coming in at number 8 is another dominant ADC who can completely turn the tide of any game. As long as you can manage your ammo effectively and avoid wasting ammo/using the wrong weapons, then Aphelios could be an excellent pick for you!

Aphelios needs time to come online, so just focus on attacking whoever your team locks down. Once you have some items under your belt, you can start being more aggressive. However, as Aphelios is extremely squishy, you need to keep a constant eye on your positioning and avoid walking too far forward or away from your team. As you’ll be facing off against 5 champions who are going to be constantly grouped and have tons of CC, you always need to have your wits about you.

    Aphelios Base Splash NEW

    9. Malphite

Number 9 is a super hard champion, and if you’ve never played Malphite before, be prepared to spend a lot of time learning him!!! In all seriousness, don’t let his difficulty or lack of difficulty make you think otherwise. His diverse build makes him either super tanky and unkillable, or he can one-shot the many ADCs and Mages you’ll face in this game mode!

Depending on how far ahead you are in the early game, and what your team needs, will dictate which build you will be taking on Malphite. If you’ve got some early kills, you can go full AP and one-shot the enemy squishies. If your team lacks a tank and you’re not ahead early, you could go full tank and be unkillable in those crucial team fights. The main thing to remember is that, regardless of build, you’re playing around your Ultimate and looking for picks.

    Malphite Splash 2

    10. Morgana

The final champion on our list is Morgana. Morgana is a great safe pick in Brawl, but she can be extremely deadly. She has lots of things in her kit that make her quite strong; she has multiple CC tools, wave clear and a Spellshield to block incoming damage and CC. All in all, a great pick in Brawl!

To play Morgana, you should play around your Q cooldown as much as physically possible. Look for picks with your Q and try to CC any key target. If you can CC someone, your team should focus on them and try to kill them. Morgana can hide in the bushes in the lane and then look to land a sneaky Q. You could walk from fog of war into a bush, hide there and wait for the enemy to pass before locking them down and killing them.

    Morgana Splash 1

    In Conclusion

That about sums OP our recommended picks for champions you could play in Brawl on this patch! Don’t forget that this game mode is supposed to be for fun, so you don’t always have to tryhard every single game.

As this game mode is relatively short, it is an excellent way to try out new champions, experiment with new things, or try to perfect combos. As a small reminder, this guide is not in any order, and you may disagree with our list and that is totally okay! At the end of the day, play the champions you enjoy and keep playing this game mode until Riot takes it away from us!
