Throne and Liberty Weapon Tier List (2024)
Welcome to our Throne and Liberty tier list that covers the best weapon combinations (Main Hand + Off-Hand).
Since Throne and Liberty was released in Korea a few months ago a lot has changed and we have gotten a lot of insight into the different weapon combinations.
Use this end-game tier list to give you an idea of what is currently strong, make sure to use the explanations as a supplement.
It’s important to remember that with balance patches these positions can suddenly change, so it’s important above all to pick what you enjoy playing.
The following is accurate as of the February 21st patch and should be relevant until the next major update.

Explanations
It is important to understand what exactly makes a weapon fit in its respective tier, here we provide a breakdown of each weapon combination.
Longbow
Dagger
Longbow offers high burst single target damage, while dagger provides crit rate passives. It is a stationary build that revolves around playing at max range to fully benefit from all the passives. It requires clean rotation and knowledge of synergies and it is very easy to play.
Staff
Staff gives the highest damage possible, but is very mana-consuming. It does not synergize well with Longbow’s passives, but it will offer long-range and high-damage capabilities, while being relatively easy.
Wand
Wand is only used for healing as an off-hand weapon. Also doesn’t synergize well with the longbow in terms of passives, but it can be used as an Off-hand healer in party play. Offers great survivability in solo content and PVP but can’t keep up with the other combinations in terms of damage.
Greatsword
Greatsword is a melee weapon and just simply doesn’t synergize well with a long-range weapon that requires a stationary playstyle, and the passives it offers don’t work well with one another
Sword and Shield
Sword and Shield (SnS) is the tank weapon and is just not good to run as an offhand weapon with a longbow due to low damage, lack of passives, and underutilization of long range.
Crossbow
Crossbow offers great damage but requires mid-range and constant movement, which is simply counterproductive behavior as the passives don’t synergize well with a stationary long-range longbow playstyle.
Dagger
Longbow
Longbow as an Off-hand, contrary to popular belief, doesn’t work the same as a main weapon. Having Dagger as a main weapon requires a different playstyle that simply doesn’t suit the longbow, and the off-hand stats Longbow has are not optimal for Dagger main weapon.
Staff
Staff is in the same boat as the longbow. Off-hand staff is under-optimized and simply doesn’t work well with a main melee weapon.
Wand
Wand will give healing and survivability, but damage will be non-existent.
Greatsword
The only reason why Greatsword isn’t an S-tier combination is due to both weapons being melee and having range options is very strong.
Dagger and Greatsword (GS) synergize well and offer very high damage with 100-0 capabilities in PVP within a few seconds. Very hard to play and manage, but very rewarding if played correctly.
Sword and Shield
SnS off-hand is usually the more damage-oriented tank build and the only reason this isn’t S tier is because SnS as main weapon is the best tank combination in the game.
Crossbow
Crossbow is the absolute bread and butter for Dagger’s main weapon. High mobility with constant swapping from mid-range to melee range, high damage, great passive bonuses and synergies, and a very well-rounded build for PVE, PVP, and solo content.
Staff
Longbow, Dagger & Wand
Longbow, Dagger, and Wand all 3 offer the same capabilities to main weapon staff. Great damage, is fully ranged, great synergies, but it just doesn’t come close to other DPS builds to be put into S-tier, mainly due to long cooldowns and damage.
SnS, Greatsword & Crossbow
SnS, Greatsword, and Crossbow should simply be avoided and not paired with Staff as main weapon as it doesn’t give any good passives synergies or damage, plus having to leave stationary long-range playstyle to go into melee range isn’t optimal
Wand
Staff & SnS
Wand as a main weapon only works with staff and SnS as that makes it the main healer class build. Synergises well with staff which offers great damage and offers self-healing and survivability for SnS tank players.
The only reason why SnS isn’t S tier is lack of damage and too much utility that doesn’t synergize well, but having a healer and tank player beats that because both of these classes are a must-have in any type of content.
Others
Every other weapon as offhand with a wand should be avoided and never used.
Greatsword
Dagger
With Dagger, it works the same as Dagger + GS and with SnS it makes it the main tank, which is the most broken and overpowered class in the game for every type of content.
Greatsword gives tank players very much-needed damage, while you literally cannot die as the main tank. It can be run with Wand for healing, but why would you need self-healing, when SnS makes you pretty much immortal.
Others
The rest of the weapons do not work as offhand weapons with GS and should be avoided.
Sword and Shield
Dagger, Wand & GS
SnS in main hand, paired with Dagger, Wand, or Greatsword makes it immortal with great damage and it is the best weapon combination in the game due to the obvious reason of needing a tank for any type of content. Especially a tank that cannot die when attacked by 20 players in PVP at the same time due to reflecting damage that heals you.
Others
The rest of the weapons should be avoided as you will only be hindering yourself as the main tank. Having three options already makes it a very versatile class build
Crossbow
Any
The most well-rounded weapon that can be paired with literally any other Off-hand weapon. It works best with Dagger for the same reasons as Dagger + Crossbow, offering the best damage for any type of content. Other combinations don’t synergize that well with one another and are lacking in the damage department as well making them A and B tier respectively.
