The 5 Best XDefiant Weapons and How to Unlock Them

Top 5 Best Weapons in XDefiant

In this guide, we’ll be covering the top 5 best XDefiant weapons and how to get them.

Picking up a strong weapon in the current meta that suits your playstyle is really important, as it will result in you getting a lot of kills and points while also allowing you to take over parts of the map in each game mode.

Our list outlines 5 of the best weapons in the current meta of XDefiant, and using them will make you a top fragger for your team. But before we break down our list, we want to clarify that this is our opinion. You may find some guns better depending on your play style and the map you’re on. Furthermore, the list is in no order; they are just our top five picks.

    1. M4A1

The M4A1 is a fully automatic assault rifle in XDefiant. It is a medium to long-range weapon that has pretty good accuracy. This beginner weapon is the first in the assault rifle class, so anyone who plays the game can unlock it for free – no immediate grinding is needed! This weapon, while an assault rifle, is very versatile and is good on most maps and game modes. It is even good in combat areas and tight situations!

    M4A1

The M4A1, a staple in any FPS game, is a reliable choice in XDefiant. It’s a weapon that’s sure to impress both diehard veterans and newbie beginners. With its impressive damage and rate of fire (725 RPM), and minimal recoil (both 50% horizontally and vertically), this weapon is a force to be reckoned with, especially if you can land those upper-body shots.

The M4A1, unlike some other guns in the game, doesn’t require many attachments to perform well. It’s a weapon that allows you to start with the default beginners class, allowing you to adapt your strategy as you see fit. However, if you want to enhance its performance, consider a suppressor, the reflex sight (a personal favorite), and an improved magazine for longer damage output.

As suggested, you do not need to complete any specific missions or challenges to unlock this weapon, as it is a starter class. But you must complete challenges and earn XP to unlock the attachments.

    Stats Value
    Damage (0-15m) 17
    Damage (15-19m) 16
    Damage (19-100m) 14
    Rate of Fire 725 RPM
    Bullet Penetration 1x
    Mobility 1.0 m/s
    Sprint Out Time 267.0 ms
    ADS Time 267.0 ms
    Aim Stability 6%
    Recoil (Horizontal) 50%
    Recoil (Vertical) 50%
    Hipfire Spread 5°
    Magazine Size 30 rounds
    Ammunition 30 + 120 rounds
    Reload Time 2.2 seconds
    Minimap Visibility 1.0 second

    2. ACR 6.8

The ACR is another very strong assault rifle in XDefiant. Its accuracy is equally good compared to many other weapons in the same class, but it falls short in close-range battles, especially in tight areas against a machine gun.

    ACR_6.8

This weapon has a good rate of fire at 625 RPM, and its recall isn’t that bad either at 50% horizontally and vertically (but it does get some getting used to). It’s like the M4A1, but with less RPM. But why is it on our list? The reason it is on our list is purely for its versatility and damage output. With some good attachments added to it’s loadout, you can deal a lot of damage and wreak havoc across parts of the map.

The recommended loadout for this weapon depends on what you want to achieve. But you can’t go wrong with a reflex sight, padded stock (to help with recoil) and quick draw grip to help with aiming.

To unlock this weapon, you’ll need to get 10 long-shot kills with an assault rifle (the M4A1). It shouldn’t be too difficult if you’re on a large map, but in some of the closer combat arenas’, you might struggle.

    Stats Value
    Damage (0-15m) 21
    Damage (15-19m) 19
    Damage (19-100m) 17
    Rate of Fire 625 RPM
    Bullet Penetration 1x
    Mobility 1.0 m/s
    Sprint Out Time 320.0 ms
    ADS Time 320.0 ms
    Aim Stability 6%
    Recoil (Horizontal) 50%
    Recoil (Vertical) 50%
    Hipfire Spread 5°
    Magazine Size 30 rounds
    Ammunition 30 + 120 rounds
    Reload Time 2.3 seconds
    Minimap Visibility 1.0 second

    3. MP7

The first of 2 machine guns on our list of the best XDefiant weapons is MP7. The MP7 is a fast-tooting, round-shooting weapon. It is great for those players who are not scared to get into the faces of their enemies and charge directly towards the objective.

    MP7

The MP7 has an extreme rate of fire. You can shoot up to 875 rounds per minute, which is impressive especially compared to some other weapons on our list. The recall is 50% for both Horizontal and Vertical, which isn’t bad either. The only problem with this weapon is that you run out of bullets so fast, as it is with many machine guns in XDefiant and other FPS games.

You have so many attachment recommendations for this weapon. As it is a machine gun, you’ll want something that can either speed up your reload speed, or increase your magazine size such as the fast mag. This will help you dish out more damage and help you win those crucial battles.

To unlock the MP7, you’ll need to get 20 point-blank kills with a submachine gun. Again, this mission shouldn’t be too difficult and will be unlocked naturally. However, you really need to be in the enemy’s face if you want to get those close combat kills.

    Stats Value
    Damage (0-15m) 19
    Damage (15-19m) 11
    Damage (19-100m) 8
    Rate of Fire 875 RPM
    Bullet Penetration 1x
    Mobility 1.0 m/s
    Sprint Out Time 185.0 ms
    ADS Time 185.0 ms
    Aim Stability 14%
    Recoil (Horizontal) 50%
    Recoil (Vertical) 50%
    Hipfire Spread 4°
    Magazine Size 35 rounds
    Ammunition 35 + 140 rounds
    Reload Time 1.9 seconds
    Minimap Visibility 1.0 second

    4. P90

The P90 is another fast-shooting machine gun in XDefiant. It is one of the best weapons in the game, allowing you to spray down your enemies and causing an impressive amount of damage to other key parts and sections of the map.

    P90

This weapon is a strong contender for anyone who wants a new weapon to try. With an impressive 50-round magazine and over 825 bullets per minute, this weapon brings many characteristics that any SMG must have to be strong, such as mag size, recoil and good spray-and-pray.

If you’re looking to run the P90 in your upcoming games, these are some of the best attachments for it. The quick mag will help you with landing those bullets and reloading, which in turn helps with fire power. An extended mag allows you to increase how many bullets you can output in a minute, and the rapid-fire barrel will help kill those enemies quicker too.

To unlock the P90, you must get 10 kills by hip-firing the enemy. This can be quite challenging, as you’ll always want to aim down sights. However, you can make it easier by running at the enemy and praying for the best. Expect to die a lot if you want to unlock this weapon.

    Stats Value
    Damage (0-15m) 18
    Damage (15-19m) 12
    Damage (19-100m) 10
    Rate of Fire 825 RPM
    Bullet Penetration 1x
    Mobility 1.0 m/s
    Sprint Out Time 170.0 ms
    ADS Time 170.0 ms
    Aim Stability 14%
    Recoil (Horizontal) 50%
    Recoil (Vertical) 50%
    Hipfire Spread 4°
    Magazine Size 50 rounds
    Ammunition 50 + 200 rounds
    Reload Time 2.8 seconds
    Minimap Visibility 1.0 second

    5. TAC 50

The final weapon on our list of the best XDefiant weapons will be the TAC 50. The benefit of this gun is that it is the best sniper in the game, and as long as you can load those shots on your opponents, you’ll easily rack up kill after kill.

    TAC-50

This weapon deals 90 damage from any range, so you can easily one shot people if they’re damaged, or if you can hit them near the head. However, as a sniper rifle, it lacks many bullets. It can only shoot around 38 rounds per minute, which is not helpful. However, the Sniper’s role is not to spray and pray like many others in the game.

The best attachments for this weapon include the lightweight barrel and sniper scope. Of course, you don’t really need the additional optics if you like the original scope. But this is one of the best attachments you can get.

You’ll probably unlock the TAC 50 naturally by playing with a sniper rifle, but you need to get 10 one-shot kills to unlock this weapon. Aim for the head, and after 10 kills, you’ll unlock this weapon.

    Stats Value
    Damage (0-15m) 90
    Damage (15-19m) 90
    Damage (19-100m) 90
    Rate of Fire 38 RPM
    Bullet Penetration 1x
    Mobility 1.0 m/s
    Sprint Out Time 600.0 ms
    ADS Time 625.0 ms
    Aim Stability 80%
    Recoil (Horizontal) 50%
    Recoil (Vertical) 50%
    Hipfire Spread 11°
    Magazine Size 5 rounds
    Ammunition 5 + 20 rounds
    Reload Time 3.1 seconds
    Minimap Visibility 1.0 second

    In Conclusion

That about sums up our article on the top 5 best weapons in XDefiant. What do you think of our list? It will be interesting to see if the weapons get nerfed or tweaked shortly, as they are OP in the right hands! Let us know what weapons you like in XDefiant below.
