The drip marketing for Version 1.6 is out, and Hoyo have revealed three new characters: Silver Soldier – Anby, Trigger, and Pulchra.
Hoyoverse is no stranger to releasing limited versions of A-Rank characters. Dan Heng had similar treatment in HSR, and Anby is now getting the same treatment.
If you didn’t already know, it’s heavily implied that Anby and Soldier 11 are sisters. They have some history (revealed in Version 1.0) and have the same white hair. Anby current goes by Anby Demara, named after Nicole as an adoptive sister.
With Trigger being from the OBOL Squad faction, Version 1.6 looks to dive into this lore and provide more background to Anby, Soldier 11, and OBOL Squad as a whole.
SS Anby is another Attack Agent, but without too much to work with, it’s hard to see what her ideal team will be.
ZZZ Silver Soldier – Anby Release Date
Silver Soldier – Anby will release in Version 1.6, which launches on March 12th, 2025. We don’t know if she will be in the first half or second half, but based on reveal order, she will likely be in the first half.

Silver Soldier – Anby ZZZ Build Guide Overview
Regardless of SS Anby’s exact kit, it’s very likely that she will be built in a very similar fashion to other Attack Agents. It’s possible that SS Anby will have an extremely unique kit and build requirements, but that remains to be seen.
I wouldn’t recommend prefarming for Engines/Discs too much until we know more information.

ZZZ Silver Soldier – Anby Best W-Engines
When it comes to DPS Agents, Signature Engines usually perform quite well. Evelyn’s Signature is a 20-30% increase in damage over other options, and we can likely expect SS Anby’s to be the same. This is generally the target that Hoyoverse seems to have when designing W-Engines for Agents.
Outside of her Signature, there are generalist options like The Brimstone (Standard), Zanshin Herb Case (Harumasa Signature), and Marcato Desire (1.4 Event). All of these Engines perform well on just about any Attack Agent, and you may have one or multiple of these.
ZZZ Silver Soldier – Anby Drive Discs
There are plenty of DPS Drive Discs that can potentially be good on SS Anby. Things like Thunder Metal, Woodpecker Electro, Hormone Punk, and Puffer Electro could all be good, but we won’t know until we see her full kit.
However, it’s quite likely that Version 1.6 will include two new Drive Disc sets. Hoyoverse generally releases Drive Discs every other version. We had Branch & Blade Song / Astral Voice (Version 1.4) and Chaos Jazz / Proto Punk (Version 1.2).
With Version 1.6, many players are expecting a new set to synergize well with SS Anby.
ZZZ Silver Soldier – Anby Drive Disc Stats
Once again, we can’t say what Drive Disc stats are optimal without knowing her kit. If SS Anby has lots of DMG% sources, then PEN 5 may be strong. If she has high Crit Rate from her kit then Crit DMG will be more valuable, etc.
For now, we have a general recommendation for stats, but we’ll be sure to update them once we know the kit.
ZZZ Silver Soldier – Anby Teams
While we don’t know SS Anby’s kit, there is a lot we can infer from the other Agents revealed so far. Trigger is an Electric Stun Agent and Pulchra is a Physical Stun Agent. It’s very likely that SS Anby’s teams will include one of these two Agents, finishing with a Support or Defense Agent in the third slot.
With SS Anby and Trigger both being Electric, Thunder Metal can potentially be good, but the new Drive Disc set will likely be better.
When it comes to a third slot, there are plenty of options. You can run Nicole, Rina, Lucy, Caesar, or Astra. Trigger very likely synergizes with SS Anby, but Pulchra is a bit unknown. Pulchra has the Sons of Calydon faction, so she may not synergize directly with Anby.
However, it’s very likely that Pulchra will be featured on Trigger’s banner. It would be a bit weird to have both Trigger and Pulchra on the same banner as they are both Stunners (unless they synergize together somehow).
As such, we can expect Pulchra to be a F2P option for SS Anby, with Trigger being the limited option for those with the Polychromes to spare.
Double Anby
Anby + Anby is another potential combination. However, considering there’s already two Stunners releasing in Version 1.6, it’s very unlikely that OG Anby will perform better than Trigger or Pulchra.
Not to mention there are other Stun options too like Qingyi. Qingyi is a heavy field-time stunner, so depending on SS Anby’s field time needs, Qingyi may or may not be good. The same can be said about OG Anby as well.
Wrap Up
This wraps up my initial impressions on Silver Soldier – Anby. Her Unknown Faction tag is quite interesting as it could indicate that she has no Faction, or that they’re saving it to reveal closer to the patch.
Regardless, Anby is quite the popular character, so many players are likely looking forward to see her upgraded Attack version.
