Palworld Pal Fluids Guide: How to Farm It Quickly

How to Get Pal Fluids in Palworld

Pal Fluids are a resource you need early on to build Technology like Hot Springs and later on, useful components like Cement.

If you take too long to gather it, your Pals will lose Sanity much faster since building Hot Springs is one of the most reliable ways to keep it in check.

In our Pal Fluids guide, we’ll show you where to get it along with some quick tips to help you get more of it quickly..

Why Pal Fluids Are Tricky To Get

Unlike other early game resources like Leather, Electric/Flame Organs, and Wool, you cannot buy Pal Fluids from a Merchant.

You also cannot passively get it from a pal that drops it at your Ranch with the Farming Work Suitability since that skill does not yet exist.

This means that the only way to get Pal Fluids in Palworld is to get it from pals as an item drop.

To top it off, Pal Fluids do not drop from every Water-type pal as you might think.

Out of the 14 Water-types in the game, 9 of them will drop it.

The 9 Water-Type pals that drop Pal Fluids are:

    1. Fuack
    2. Pengullet
    3. Teafant
    4. Celaray
    5. Gobin
    6. Surfent
    7. Kelpsea
    8. Jormuntide
    9. Suzaku Aqua

The 5 Water-types that do NOT drop Pal Fluids are:

    1. Penking
    2. Elphidran Aqua
    3. Azurobe
    4. Elaxaurus
    5. Broncherry Aqua

The Best Place to Get Pal Fluids in the Early Game

Although there are some other good locations you’ll find throughout the map, this is our favorite location to recommend due to its proximity to the starting area.

All you have to do is follow the road until you get to the Grassy Behemoth Hills Waypoint, which is likely the second one you’ll run into.

Then, continue west until you hit the beaches. For exact coordinates, head to around 116, -496.

Another reason why we recommend this location is that you’ll find three pals that drop Pal Fluids: Pengullet, Teafant, and Celaray.

In addition to getting you Pal Fluids, these three pals are also among the best pals to get early on.

For example, Teafant’s Skill gives you a way to heal yourself – healing in general is incredibly rare in Palworld.

If you’re looking for a better glider than the first one you have access to, you can also craft Celeray’sGloves.

You can also find Fuack, another Pal Fluids dropper north of the beach if you climb the cliffs, but we recommend just following the coast and looping back for continuous farming.

Double Dip With the Meat Cleaver

If you don’t feel guilty using the Meat Cleaver, you can get item drops twice for a pal – the first time from catching it, the second time from butchering it.

Typically you’ll want to save any pals with yellow favorable passive traits, so consider this option for the ones with red unfavorable ones.

If you haven’t used the Meat Cleaver before, hold down the 4 key (or clicking down the Right Stick on controller) then select Butcher.

So if you really need more Pal Fluids and don’t want to take a trip back to a farming area, this is a good option to save you time.

Note that you can use this method to double dip for any item that pals drop!

Use Electric Types to Farm Faster

Whether you’re looking to catch and butcher or want to just slay as many Water-types as possible, it’s a good idea to have an Electric-type pal with you to speed up the process.

Not only do Electric-types deal extra damage to Water-Types, but they also typically have AoE (area of effect) abilities that can help you kill multiple Water pals at once.

Early on, you might use something like a Jolthog and then you can upgrade to a Univolt later down the road which will give you even more efficiency since you can stay mounted on it.
