How to Play Zoe Viktor
Hey everyone, NicMakesPlays here to give you a new Zoe Viktor deck I’ve been working on.
This deck has done well at high ranks for me and is one of the most fun decks I’ve ever played in Legends of Runeterra.
In this article, I’ll cover the deck’s win conditions, mulligan phase, tips and tricks, and tech cards.

Win Conditions
The goal of this deck is to generate card advantage off of discarding Gift Giver, Supercool Starchart from Zoe, and Ignitions from Ballistic Bot as discard fodder.
When you generate advantage, you threaten multiple win conditions through Zoe’s level up, Nyandroid, Viktor, and big Celestial threats from Starshaping.
This deck has an easy time leveling up Zoe, leveling up Viktor, and racking up Augment.
The Mulligan Phase
You want to always mulligan for Gift Giver or Zoe on 1, and Ballistic Bot or Mountain Goat on 2. These cards can start generating your advantage and giving you created cards.
You can use these cards to discard for Sump Dredger and Spacey Sketcher to generate advantage or later to use them to level Viktor and buff Nyandroid through Augment.
Key Cards and Synergies
This deck utilizes Ballistic Bot’s ability to give an Ignition every turn for discard fodder. You can use this to discard for Spacey Sketcher to generate Celestials, Sump Dredger to draw a card, and Poro Cannon to get two Daring Poros.
The Celestials and Daring Poros have also created cards so they give Ballistic Bot the Augment buff and count for Viktor’s level up.
Nyandroid is really easy to make 10+ attack with his Augment keyword.
Each Gem gives him 2 attack because of Augment, each Daring Poro gives him 1 attack, and each Ignition gives him 1 attack while also dealing 1 damage to the Nexus.
This can rack up a win condition extremely fast and you can keep him protected with Bastion.
Viktor and Zoe are both extremely easy to level up in this deck.
A lot of cards in this deck give you more created cards with different names such as Gift Giver, Ballistic Bot, Mountain Goat, Poro Cannon, Spacey Sketcher, and Zoe/Viktor themselves.
If they do not immediately answer Zoe then she can get to 7|10 on her level up and you can use Burst spells to push for the 10|10 level up.
If you get her level, up you can use Nyandroid to give your whole field Elusive and Augment, or you can also use Daring Poro to give your whole field Elusive.
Viktor also levels up in the deck when you have used 8+ created cards which is easy. When you have him leveled up his Hexcore Upgrade costs 0, Ignitions cost 0, Gems cost 0 along with many other discounted created cards.
You can rack up his keywords and Augment easily and turn him into a win condition with Overwhelm or Elusive.
Tips & Tricks
You want to use Poro Cannon and Daring Poros when you have Augmented units on the field, such as Nyandroid, to put on huge damage with the Augment buffs + extra Elusive units.
If Zoe’s Supercool Starchart or Spacey Sketcher generates Moonglow then you can use it on Zoe, Nyandroid, or Viktor to protect them with Spellshield and the extra health.
This allows Zoe to level up easily and Nyandroid/Viktor to become a win-con that is hard to answer.
Also, if Zoe is 5|10 with Moonglow you want to try and map out how to level her up the next turn because if you do then you usually win.
Tech Choices
- Rummage
- This can be used to draw 2 of your generated Ignition, Hexcore Upgrade, and Gems. It can be a good choice for an easy way to refuel.
- Mechanized Mimic
- Mechanized Mimic is a good alternate win-con since it can become strong fast due to her Augment keyword as well as gaining Elusive and all of Viktor’s keywords from her effect.
- Shards of the Mountain
- You can run this to generate a hand full of Gems, each gives 2 attack with the Augment keyword on Nyandroid and Viktor, as well as costing 0 with Viktor’s level up.
- More Hushs
- This deck can run extra copies of Hush if you want more interaction with the opponent.
