Doom Bots are Returning to Summoner’s Rift
Doom Bots is a game mode that League of Legends hasn’t seen for nearly 10 years! It is one of the most challenging game modes Riot has ever created. It will be returning on patch 15.17, which is the next patch.
Doom Bots is a PvE game mode where you and 4 teammates face off against super-strong AI robots, and your goal is to survive for 15 minutes, where you’ll then face Veigar while trying to defend your Nexus.
In this game mode, you’ll face a range of different champions with lots of different abilities. These abilities are similar but different in some shape or form, which makes them much harder to play against. For instance, Wukong could have more than 2 monkeys.
What Champions are in Doom Bots
There are a plethora of different champions you might face in Doom Bots, but here are just a few. Remember that their abilities are slightly different and are far stronger and harder to play against.
Their abilities are going to be much overpowered, and each ability will be a lot stronger.
Wukong
- Q: Is bigger, stronger, and hits multiple enemies at once.
- E: Spawns more clones depending on its rank.
- R: Can result in up to seven spinning Wukongs at once.
Nami
- Q: Splits into three bubbles on landing.
- R: Upgraded.
Some other champions include: Tristana, Amumu, Veigar, Maokai, Xerath, Corki, Brand, Diana, and Lee Sin.
Missions
There will be missions that give additional buffs and rewards to make the game mode easier, but if you fail these missions, it could work out in the enemy’s favour. Furthermore, Riot has suggested that there will be trials of the game mode and different versions that make the game mode harder.
When is Doom Bots Going to be Released?
The game mode will return on patch 15.17, which will be live on August 27th. Expect the gamemode to be out within a few days of the patch dropping.
