5 S-Tier Top Laners to Climb With in Patch 13.20

In Season 13, Patch 13.20, you’ll increase your chances of climbing and winning games if you’re playing a champion that is in the meta. If you don’t play a strong champion or someone who is not intended to be played in that role, you’ll decrease your chances of winning.

In this Mobalytics article, we will discuss 5 of the best S-tier Top Laners you can pick to gain ELO in Patch 13.20. If you want to learn more tips on how to play as any of these champions, head over to the Mobalytics’ Champion Page.

Best Top Laners For Season 13 Patch 13.20

    1. Darius
    2. Malphite
    3. Olaf
    4. Renekton
    5. Fiora

You can find more S-tier picks on the Mobalytics Tier List for Patch 13.20. Please note the data we are using is mid-patch data, worldwide and is all Rank data.

    Darius

Darius is one of the best solo queue Top laners to learn in League of Legends. His insane laning phase and early-game power make him a formidable champion to lane against. The Darius player can quickly capitalise on one mistake by the enemy.

If you’ve never played Darius, I highly recommend trying him out. He is straightforward to play, which is ideal when you’re new to League or are not very good at the game. Due to his Passive, he can deal a ton of additional damage, making trading usually work in his favour.

Darius had a 50% win rate in 1,200,000 games in Patch 13.19.

    Malphite

Malphite is a basic champion in League of Legends, but even though he is very basic, he is excellent throughout all game stages. His flexibility and consistency make him a very good champion to main in League of Legends Patch 13.20.

He is a very underrated pick in League of Legends, especially if you can get ahead on him. If I’m honest, his laning isn’t the most fun, but he becomes fun to play when he gets his Ultimate as he presses R and blows someone up.

During Patch 13.19, Malphite had a win rate of 51.6% win rate in 952,000 games.

    Olaf

The third champion on our list is Olaf. Olaf is a very lane-dominant champion who can easily run down any enemy who over-extends in the lane. Thanks to his Q and W, he can easily take down targets who are misspositioned or disrespectful.

While you may not see Olaf that much in your games, don’t let his statistics fool you. Olaf can be an absolute tyrant to play against. If you want to master him, something you can look to do is limit test and try to constantly fight. Limit testing in League of Legends is a great way of learning a new champion.

Olaf had a 51.4% win rate in 333,000 games.

    Renekton

Renekton could be a good pick if you want to climb in Low ELO during Patch 13.20. He is a strong and dominant champion who can snowball quickly during the laning phase with his impressive duelling potential and ability to get kills.

Playing Renekton teaches you a lot about the laning phase in the Top Lane. You will learn how to manage waves, trading patterns, and what you should do during the game’s mid and later parts. He is basic and easy, so he’s ideal for beginners.

Renekton’s win rate in Patch 13.19 was 49.4% in 1,173,000 games.

    Fiora

Fiora is the final champion on our list. Like basically every champion on our list, Fiora is an excellent champion with strong all-in and kill pressure throughout all game stages. During the laning phase, Fiora can get kill after kill if she faces any weak laner.

This week, she is new to the S-tier roster after a solid performance across all ranks. If you want to climb in Patch 13.20, consider adding Fiora to your roster of champions, as she is a very good, easy champion to climb with.

And finally, Fiora’s win rate in Patch 13.19 was 50.5% in 706,000 games.

    Final Thoughts

And that is the end of this article. What do you think of our list? Do you think ther are better champions around, or are you finding success on someone else? Let us know below!

You can find tips and tricks on how to play these champions on their Champion Page.
