Best Supports to Climb With in Season 15

Top 5 Best Supports to Carry With in Season 15

The Support role in League of Legends can be the most impactful role in the game. A good Support can dominate the enemy Bottom Lane, and then move around the map and help their other allies dominate their own lanes.

In Season 15, there are a lot of good Supports you can play and abuse to climb ELO and carry your team to victory, and in this Mobalytics guide, we will discuss 5 of the best Supports you can play, regardless of ELO and climb fast in LoL.

Before we get into this article, we need to provide a quick disclaimer. The champions on our list may not be statistically the best to play when reading this article, as every patch win rates change. However, we will update this article every so often to keep the list current!

    1. Janna

Janna is one of the most consistent Supports to have graced the game in the past few years of League of Legends. Janna has consistently been a dominant Support, and has great teamplay throughout all stages of the game. What makes Janna so good is that her kit is packed with so many tools that are incredibly versatile.

Let’s start with her Q. Her Q can be used to engage or disengage, which can help her keep her allies alive and get kills. Her W is a utility tool which can also be used to poke. Her E is a shield and her Ultimate is a disengage tool that provides healing. In short, she has a lot of tools to keep her allies alive so they can dish out damage. The only problem for Janna is that she is a bit more passive than a lot of other champions on our list, so you rely on your allies more than anyone else.

Janna might be one of the easiest Supports to play in LoL. She also has good synergy with the majority of meta champions right now. In some matchups, she can be extremely dominant, and even when you’re in a bad matchup, you can still be helpful with your disengage tools. You could pick her if you’re the first pick, as she can always go even when she’s in tough matchups.

    2. Lulu

Lulu is the second champion on the list of the best Supports you should play in League of Legends. Lulu is powerful as she can empower her allies and help them get kills over and over in the lane. She has a lot of tools in her kit which can be used to trade with the enemy (like her Q, or empower her allies and protect them (her E and W). But that isn’t all.

Lulu is fantastic throughout all stages of the game. She can empower her allies to keep them alive in team fights, which allows them to deal more damage. She can even use her Ultimate to knock up enemies who jump on her pookie bear (her ADC) to buffer their all-in in team fights. She can be really strong against champions like Rengar and Lee Sin with her Ultimate and W, as it can interrupt their engage.

Lulu is also a very simple champion to play, which is great for low ELO players or people who want to start learning the role. A benefit to Lulu in the new season is that she has good synergy with a lot of the meta ADC champions, so you can basically pick her with anyone regardless of who they are. But I wouldn’t really recommend picking her with Jhin as her extra attack speed doesn’t work too well with him.

    3. Nami

One of my favourite champions in the game is Nami. Nami is a fun champion who can make plays and get kills in the laning phase. Getting kills increases your chances of snowballing, and playing a play-making champion will allow you to carry.

A good Nami player will be looking to make plays with their Q and Ultimate whenever they can. In particular, they should be looking for plays whenever the enemy walks up to farm. Landing one good bubble early can result in an early kill or the enemy blowing their Flash, what can easily be capitalised on.

Nami is one of the harder champions to master on our list as she has skill shots which can be tricky to land. Her Q isn’t the easiest if you’re new to playing her, but with that in mind, she is a great flex pick and can be picked with basically any ADC. She is really good with hyper-carry ADCs as she can empower them.

    4. Rell

The fourth champion on our list is arguably one of the best champions to main if you want to solo carry games. Rell is one of the few champions on our list who consistently has kill pressure and can dominate the laning phase. If you love to play aggressively, Rell might be the champion for you.

Rell can abuse weak and immobile champions and over-extended enemies, thanks to her strong all-in potential. Once the enemy walks forward, she can just jump on them. If you’re able to do this a few times during the laning phase, you’ll quickly get a lot of kills and able to snowball. Even if you can’t get kills, you can team up with your Jungler to get kills elsewhere on the map. This will heavily increase your chances of winning.

Rell should be played with champions who have aggressive laning phases and tools to follow up. She isn’t that good when paired with champions who lack early-game damage and need time to scale. However, you can just roam around and help your allies to counter this.

    5. Sona

While she may be squishy and look uninviting to many players, Sona is one of the best utility Supports in the game. She is a direct counter to other utility Supports as she has kill pressure and damage. Unlike champions such as Janna, who doesn’t have any form of engage, Sona has her Ultimate, which allows her to make plays.

As we’ve discussed, having some form of pressure is good for Solo Queue and climbing in LoL, as it allows you to start fights and get kills. However, Sona also has good built-in utility tools, like her heal and movement speed buff. These 2 abilities give her and her allies a lot of potential to turn the tides of any lane.

If you want to play Sona, you’re in luck, as she is pretty easy to play, and she synergises well with hyper-carries and most S-Tier ADCs.

    In Conclusion

That concludes our article on 5 of the best champions to play in the Support role if you’re looking to climb in Season 15. Keep in mind, while they may not have the highest win rates, mastering them can severely increase your chances of winning games and climbing fast.
