Best Junglers For Season 14 Patch 14.7 of League of Legends

OP Junglers to Climb With in Patch 14.7

On patch 14.7, we will see a wide variety of strong Junglers being played, and the reworked Skarner will be released onto the live servers. Skarner will be the first champion this year to receive a VGU. However, while he will be great, we will not include him on our list, as you should play him a bit first before heading into ranked!

This Mobalytics article will discuss 5 of the strongest Junglers you should play on patch 14.7. If you wish to master any of these champions or learn to play anyone else in LoL, head over to the Mobalytics’ Champion Page for more!

Don’t see your favourite champion on our list? See where we rank them on the Mobalytics Tier List for Patch 14.7.

    1. Ivern

Ivern has shown to be a dominant Jungler for quite some time now. He has a high win rate and is one of the better AP Junglers in LoL right now. Ivern is a utility Jungler, which means he focuses on providing heals, shields and CC to keep his carries alive. With the increased popularity of carries in the Top and Support lane, it is good to have a Jungler who can play a supportive role in the game.

He has good skirmishing power throughout every stage of the game. This means he can fight basically anyone who wants a fight! He also has good objective control and can take the early Grubs at level 4 without help from anyone. If the enemy tries to fight him for them, he can either quickly kill them or back off with ease. In team fights, Ivern is excellent, as he can empower and buff up his allies to keep them alive.

    Ivern Mid Patch Data

    • According to the patch preview, Ivern is not getting any buffs or nerfs this patch.
    • Ivern has a very good win rate. His win rate right now is 54.20%.
    • He doesn’t have the best pick rate of any champion. It is quite low really at 1.79%.
    • Don’t bother banning Ivern. It isn’t worth it. He had a 0.81% ban rate this patch.
    • In Emerald +, he was played 32,000 times.

    2. Warwick

Warwick is a new champion on our list this week, but he is a good Jungler to learn for anyone who might want to invest time into learning a new role in LoL. A significant benefit to Warwick is that he is straightforward to play. Playing an easy champion when learning a new role is highly beneficial and will increase your chances of winning.

He is a strong skirmisher, like all the other champions on our list. He can 1v1 any of the top meta Junglers, which is essential in the early game as there might be a fight for the Void Grubs. Warwick is also a decent counter Jungler so that he can help his allies in the 2v2 or 3v3 fights. If Warwick can get an early lead, then he can quickly snowball and become a massive threat as the game develops.

    Warwick Mid Patch Data

    • According to the patch preview, Warwick is not getting any buffs or nerfs this patch.
    • Warwick has a decent win rate right now. His win rate is 53.57%.
    • He isn’t a highly contested champion in LoL as his pick rate is only 3.08%.
    • Don’t bother banning Warwick. It isn’t worth it. He had a 1.16% ban rate this patch.
    • In Emerald +, he was played 55,000 times.

    3. Viego

    Viego Base Splash

Viego is on our tier list once again for our recommendations of champions to play on patch 14.7. He is one of the best skirmish-heavy Junglers in LoL, as he can fight every single champion he might come up across in the Jungle role. He is really good at taking those Void Grubs and turning the fight on any Jungler who wants to take them from him.

What makes Viego a great pick is also how easy it is to gank on him. He can just go invisible and then show up and gank any enemy who may have overextended or mispositioned. His Q is a CC tool and relatively easy to land as well. In team fights, he can become a different champion upon getting takedowns, which allows him to be a much bigger threat to the enemy, too.

    Viego Mid Patch Data

    • According to the patch preview, Viego is not getting any buffs or nerfs this patch.
    • Viego’s win rate isn’t the strongest of any champion in the Jungle role right now, but it is still above 50% at 51.91%.
    • The champion that does have the highest win rate however is Viego at 12.61%.
    • Viego has an 4.38% ban rate on this patch. He is one of the better Junglers, so I guess this ban rate is justified.
    • In Emerald +, he was played 56,000 times.

    4. Bel’Veth

    Cosmic Matriarch Bel'Veth Splash Art

The 4th champion on our list is Bel’Veth. Bel’Veth has proven to be a consistent Jungler in LoL for some time now. Her kit is extremely unique, and it offers her some great skirmishing power. Like some other champions on our list, if she is able to get one kill, she can quickly snowball from there.

Bel’Veth is quite challenging to handle when she gets ahead. A good player will look to abuse their strength to constantly invade the enemy and fight them whenever they wish. This means fighting over objectives, counter ganking the enemy and being as annoying as possible. Bel’Veth can take those objectives really quickly too, so make sure you prioritize them!

    Bel’Veth Mid Patch Data

    • According to the patch preview, Bel’Veth is not getting any buffs or nerfs this patch.
    • Bel’Veth’s win rate is decent at 52.63%. She isn’t the highest win rate champion, but far from the lowest.
    • Her popularity has definitely decreased in recent patches, but she is still a great pick for anyone. Her pick rate is at 4.36%.
    • She has quite a high ban rate of 11.35%.
    • In Emerald +, she was played 78,000 times.

    5. Master Yi

    Master Yi Splash Crop

Master Yi is the final champion on our list. He is another very simple Jungler, which is ideal for you players who are low ELO or who are wanting to learn the role. If the Master Yi can get 1 kill, he can quickly snowball and be a major threat to anyone who wants to fight him.

While over-simplified champions are usually easy to counter, Master Yi can be quite hard to play against. He has his Q to dodge CC and escape skill shots, but he is hard to build against due to his extreme damage output and attack speed, and when he is ahead- the game is basically GG. The only way you can counter him is by picking champions with a lot of CC. So, if you want to pick Master Yi, avoid doing so when the enemy has picked a lot of tank champions.

    Master Yi Mid Patch Data

    • According to the patch preview, Master Yi is not getting any buffs or nerfs this patch.
    • At the time of writing this article, Master Yi’s win rate was 53.45%.
    • Out of all the champions on our list, Master Yi has the second highest pick rate of 7.05%.
    • Master Yi is very popular, so it is justified why so many people are banning him. Yi had a 14% ban rate for this patch.
    • In Emerald +, he was played 125,000 times.

    Final Thoughts

To finish of this guide, we recommend that you should pick one of these 5 champions, but let it be known there are so many good champions around right now, that we recommend you pick someone who is strong and you enjoy. If you want to see what other Junglers are good on this patch, you should head over to the Mobalytics Tier List for patch 14.7.
