Best ADCs For Season 14 Patch 14.9 of League of Legends

Top 5 Strongest and OP ADCs For Patch 14.9

The ADC role is one of the most important roles in the game. Players who enjoy League of Legends love to play this role due to its carry potential. However, unlike some of the other roles in League, it require you to play with 1 other person, which isn’t always ideal. However, playing a champion who is strong will increase your chances of climbing in LoL on this patch!

In this article, we will list 5 of the strongest AD Carries you should play on League of Legends patch 14.9. Head over to the Mobalytics’ Champion Page for more information, guides and tips to help you play as any of these champions!

Don’t see your favourite champion on our list? See where we rank them on the Mobalytics Tier List for Patch 14.9.

    1. Senna

    Senna Base Splash

The first champion on our list today is Senna. Senna has received some major changes in recent patches, but she is once again one of the best ADCs to play. This is especially true after nerfs to some of the other really dominant ADCs like Twitch!

Senna may not have the strongest early game, but if she is given some time to come online, she can be really strong, as she scales incredibly well and has a high damage output in the mid and late game. Her kit has lots of utility built into it, so as long as you know how to kite and position well, you can be really effective on Senna. NOTE: If you want to play Senna, you’re best bet is to pair her with a champion like Tahm Kench or Seraphine. Play her as “Fasting Senna”.

    Senna ADC Mid-Patch Stats:

    • According to the patch preview, they are not getting any buffs or nerfs in this patch.
    • Senna had a win rate on patch 14.8 of 53.86%.
    • They had a 0.67% pick rate.
    • And Senna had a 4.94% ban rate.
    • In Emerald+, Senna was played 15,000 times.

    2. Draven

The next champion on our list is one of my personal favourite ADCs to play, and that champion is Draven. A good Draven (not me), can truly take over the game when he is paired with an aggressive or play-making Support such as Thresh or Leona.

One early kill will grant Draven a lot of additional gold. This extra gold can help him get his first item or first component item quicker than the enemy. This additional damage will also help him while trading with them, which naturally increases his damage output and kill pressure.

    Draven ADC Mid-Patch Stats:

    • According to the patch preview, they are not getting any buffs or nerfs in this patch.
    • Draven’s win rate in patch 14.8 was 51.02%.
    • They had a 7.07% pick rate.
    • And Draven had a 24.33% ban rate. Ouch!
    • In Emerald+, Draven was played 155,000 times.

    3. Jhin

    Jhin Splash Soul Fighter

Number 3 on our list is Jhin, and yes I put him third to annoy you. Jhin has been a solid ADC for quite some time now, and if you can learn to master him, then you will see yourself climbing in no time at all this patch. He is so strong because he has a really good build in the current meta, which enables him to get ahead.

Another benefit of picking Jhin is that he has good carry potential and a lot of damage, especially when he has his 4th shot ready. But also his Ultimate is a really good tool during all stages of the game as well. He can use his Ultimate to finish players off, get picks or even set up his Jungler.

    Jhin ADC Mid-Patch Stats:

    • According to the patch preview, they are not getting any buffs or nerfs in this patch.
    • Jhin’s win rate in patch 14.8 was 52.94%.
    • They had a 15.65% pick rate.
    • And Jhin had a 1.85% ban rate.
    • In Emerald+, Jhin was played 340,000 times.

    4. Ashe

If you’re looking for a utility champion, or someone who is pretty much guaranteed to get kills post 6, then why not give Ashe a try! Ashe is one of the oldest champions in the game and a flex pick. She can be played in both the ADC and Support role, although both play styles are slightly different!

What makes Ashe so good is her poke, all-in potential from extended trades and her Ultimate. Once she has some items under her belt, she can go for extended trades with the enemy with her empowered Q. She can also poke the enemy down with her W before committing to an all-in. When she hits 6, she can use her Ultimate to start a fight in her lane or another. In a bad matchup? No problem, just focus on scaling and you’ll be really useful thanks to your Ultimate.

    Ashe ADC Mid-Patch Stats:

    • According to the patch preview, they are not getting any buffs or nerfs in this patch.
    • Ashe’s win rate in patch 14.8 was 52.93%.
    • They had a 8.66% pick rate.
    • And Ashe had a 3.78% ban rate.
    • In Emerald+, Ashe was played 190,000 times.

    5. Nilah

The final champion on our list is Nilah. Nilah is one of the harder champions on our list, and if you really want to be good on her, you need to be aggressive and be prepared to all-in the enemy and get right in their face.

Nilah has insane all-in potential as she can dash in and activate her Ultimate. As she wants to go in and go face-to-face with the enemy, you must play her with a Support who also wants to go face-first in to the enemy. If you don’t do this, it will be hard for her to abuse the enemy and gain a lead truly.

    Nilah ADC Mid-Patch Stats:

    • According to the patch preview, they are not getting any buffs or nerfs in this patch.
    • Nilah had a win rate in patch 14.8 was 54.66%.
    • They had a 3.04% pick rate.
    • And Nilah had a 6.15% ban rate.
    • In Emerald+, Nilah was played 65,000 times.

    In Conclusion

And now that’s about it for our recommended picks for the ADC role. What do you think of the champions we’ve recommended? If you don’t like any of these champions, head over to the Mobalytics Tier List for patch 14.9 for more recommendations.
