5 Champions With the Least Skins in League of Legends

5 Champions With the Least Skins in League of Legends Season 13

In a game with over 160 champions and more champions added every season, it is hard for Riot Games to keep up with the flow and give every champion an equal opportunity to get new skins. Every patch, Riot introduces new skins for some champions, but unfortunately, some champions never receive skins and haven’t had some for a few years now.

Some of the champions in the League are avoided like the plague. The main reason for this is due to the popularity of the champion. However, other reasons impact their decision, such as who is en route to get a rework or has recently received a skin.

Naturally, some champions have a ton of skins, but in this Mobalytics article, we will list champions with little to no additional skins in League. If you’re interested in learning more about any of the champions on today’s list, or if you want to learn how to play them, make sure you check out their Mobalytics Champion Page.

We recently released an article on champions with the most skins in LoL; check it out here! Please note: we exclude Milio from this list as he was only released this year.

5 Champions With the Least Skins in League of Legends Season 13

    1. Bel’Veth
    2. Nilah
    3. Akhsan
    4. Gwen
    5. K’Sante

Our previous article discussed why I felt those champions had the most skins in the game. This time however, I will talk about how to play each of these champions instead, as I feel like the majority of the champions with fewer skins are still somewhat new, and I don’t want to repeat myself over and over again, saying the same thing!

    1. Bel’Veth

Bel’Veth has been out for nearly a year now, and she has only received 1 skin during this time. The skin that she received isn’t even that good, and was released when she was released back in mid 2022.

Bel’Veth is a strong Jungler in League of Legends and a good Bel’Veth will easily get an advantage and then snowball their lead from there. I feel like she is always a top 10 Jungler ever since she came out.

Tips and Tricks to help you play Bel”Veth:

    • Weave in as many auto-attacks as you can to make full use of your kit and damage.
    • Go for extended trades as much as possible. Your Passive and basic abilities work well in conjunction with one another when you go for longer fights.
    • Avoid using your E aggressively during the laning phase unless the enemy is unable to escape. They can quickly disengage while you’re standing still.

    2. Nilah

Similar to Bel’Veth, Nilah has only received 1 skin in her year on Summoners Rift. I think Riot should add a new skin for her soon due to her increased popularity after the ADC item changes in the huge mid-season patch of Season 13.

Nilah is only played in the ADC role, which could be a reason why she doesn’t have many skins. But, Nilah as a whole isn’t really played that much either. She needs to be picked with an aggressive Support, and those are not that good right now.

Tips and Tricks to help you play Nilah:

    • Before going in for an aggressive play, ensure you have two stacks on your E so you can escape the skirmish.
    • You will hit level 6 before the enemy due to your Passive. When paired with an aggressive Support, look for the all-in once you hit 6.
    • Look to fight in grouped areas of the map. You can then use your E aggressively, and then cast your Ultimate on the enemy while they’re close together.

    3. Akshan

This champion has been out for around a year and a half now, and Akshan has received a whopping 2 skins in this time! Honestly, I am not surprised as Akshan seems quite difficult to create skins for as he has a ton of animations.

Akshan is usually seen in the Top lane, but he does sometime get played in the ADC or Mid lane roles in League of Legends. Thankfully, he isn’t really played as often, but he is still a solid pick overall with his range advantage in many matchups and his revive potential.

Tips and Tricks to help you play Akshan:

    • Refrain from using your E unless you really have to. During the laning phase, you’re quite vulnerable to an all-in if you’re caught out of position without it.
    • Auto-attack before using your Q as your Q applies stacks that allow you to easily get your Passive procs.
    • To avoid getting your Ultimate cancelled, try and use it when the enemy wastes CC tools, or whenever you’re not going to get it interrupted.

    4. Gwen

The fourth champion on our list was released in late December 2021. Gwen only has 2 skins in her year and a half on Summoners Rift. Again, I am surprised she doesn’t have more skins because of her popularity back then. She does have 2 good skins though, so shouldn’t complain that much.

Gwen has been played in 3 different roles since hitting summoners rift. Usually, she is seen in the Top lane now, but I quite enjoyed seeing her as a Jungler. I feel that Gwen is a really good pick, regardless of the meta- I just wish I could play her properly.

Tips and Tricks to help you play Gwen:

    • Gank lanes that are overextended and out of position. You can easily chase enemies down who are overextended.
    • Activate your W to block CC and interrupts when ganking a lane. The mist will block CC and help your ganks succeed.
    • When clearing the jungle, try and auto-attack as much as possible before using your Q. The more stacks you have, the more damage your Q will deal.

    5. K’Sante

The last champion on our list is K’Sante. He was also released in late 2022, but he is different to all the other champions as he has a prestige skin. I personally don’t think any of the K’Sante skins are that nice, so I hope to see him get another skin in the near future.

K’Sante is usually seen in the Top lane, but he was recently played some-what frequently in the Mid lane of MSI 2023. It was nice to see him being picked in another role, but I am happy that this popularity in pro play hasn’t neccessarily transitioned to solo queue.

Tips and Tricks to help you play K’Sante:

    • Don’t constantly push during the laning phase. You will not be able to use your Ultimate when constantly pushing, as you’ll throw yourself into the enemy’s tower.
    • Post 6, beware of using your Ultimate. Check your surroundings and look for the enemy Jungler before going in with your Ult.
    • In the early laning phase, you can threaten an all-in with your 3rd Q stack to gain a significant health advantage over the enemy.

    Final Thoughts

We hope that these champions will see some skins in the near future. Only time will tell, and we will need to wait and see what Riot comes up with: what skins do you think would suit them? Let us know below. As always, if you found the educational part of our guide helpful, you can find more tips and tricks to help you climb with the Mobalytics Blog.
