    What champions counter Lee Sin?

    • Morgana
    • Skarner
    • Graves
    • Evelynn
    • Elise

The best champions that counter Lee Sin are Morgana, Skarner, Graves, Evelynn and Elise. You can find all the matchup tips we use in this guide on the Mobalytics App. For plus members, you can get specific matchup tips for the champion you’re playing versus the enemy laner at your fingertips while you load into the game. We have tens of thousands of different, highly specific matchups curated by our challenger level players to help you lane against the enemy champion.

    1. Lee Sin vs Morgana

Morgana is a very strong Jungler in the current meta. As long as she can dodge Lee Sin’s Q, and land her Q, she should win any 1v1 against Lee Sin. She also has equal gank pressure compared to Lee Sin, and the same amount of neutral objective control. Good Morganas will find a healthy balance between cooking up a storm by farming and helping her allies.

4 tips to counter Lee Sin as Morgana

    • Once you Q him, it is game over for Lee Sin as you can do whatever for the next couple of seconds. Hold onto your Q till he gets close to you, and then use it.
    • Your E will be convenient once Lee Sin gets his Ultimate. It will let you protect you or your carries from being displaced into the enemy team and killed quickly.
    • Counter gank Lee Sin as much as you can during the early game. Your ability to clear camps quickly should let you do so effortlessly and will allow you to win easily.
    • When invading, be very careful about enemy movement on the map. If you see them suddenly collapsing on you, just cancel the invade and run away.

    2. Lee Sin vs Skarner

Skarner is a good pick into Lee Sin because Skarner has multiple CC tools built into his kit. Lee Sin doesn’t have any hard CC outside of his Ultimate, whereas Skarner has a plethora of them.

4 tips to counter Lee Sin as Skarner

    • Lee Sin will gank aggressively during the early game so you should try to hit level three as quickly as you can and then try to control the Crystals as well as see if you counter gank him. If counter ganking isn’t possible, try to make some cross-map plays.
    • If Lee Sin Q’s you and then goes in on you, Q>AA him and CC him. Then you can proceed to chase him down and fight him with your W and E.
    • Lee Sin will try to use his Ultimate {as a disengage during skirmishes. If such is the case, make sure you Ult someone before his Ultimate goes off. You can also Ultimate Lee Sin which will help your team kill him almost immediately if they have some follow-up CC.
    • During team fights, Lee might try to Q onto a carry and then ‘Insec’ them to his team. If such is the case, R him as soon as he uses the second cast of his Q. Otherwise, just go for his backline and kidnap the highest priority target.

    3. Lee Sin vs Graves

Graves will win any 1v1 with the Lee Sin as long as he is able to dodge Lee’s Q. Don’t be afraid to use your superior trading power to invade the Lee Sin and look for kills early on. If you’re not able to kill the Lee on your own, you could gank your allies or secure neutral objectives.

4 tips to counter Lee Sin as Graves

    • Make sure you dodge his initial Q with your E or by sidestepping it. That is the only way he can get close to you. If he manages to land his Q, W yourself to limit his vision.
    • Barring his Q, Lee Sin is melee and doesn’t pose much of a threat due to your kiting skills. Just don’t get caught off guard while farming as he will definitely try to invade a lot. Try to counter gank him as much as you can.
    • Your W allows you to dissipate ganks really easily and you may be able to get some free kills as well.
    • During team fights, try to prevent Lee Sin from getting into your backline. Honestly, try to win the game by making picks rather than team fighting as you don’t do too well during team fights.

    4. Lee Sin vs Evelynn

This matchup can go either way. As long as you focus on farming and avoid fighting him pre-6, you should out scale and win against him later. Evelynn isn’t too bad at counter ganking either, and if Lee approaches a lane with his Q, she should be able to turn around the exchange.

4 tips to counter Lee Sin as Evelynn

    • You are not very strong in comparison to the enemy Jungler in the early game, so if the enemy Jungler invades you, do not try to fight them. They are much stronger in a 1v1 than you and will kill you if you try to fight. Just back off and retreat.
    • As it’s unlikely you’re going to be getting off many ganks in the early game, try to place vision around the river so you can spot the enemy when they leave their jungle. You can then potentially counter gank if you’re nearby, try to gank somewhere else on the map or take an objective like the Dragon. The enemy will be ganking a lot early, so you need to reduce their ability to snowball by placing vision and stopping ganks from arising.
    • The enemy can solo the Dragon in the early game. Ensure that you keep it warded so you can spot them on it. Ping if you see them on it and try to stop them if you have assistance. Take the Scuttle Crab whenever it’s up on that side of the map to have extra vision on the objective.
    • The enemy Jungler will be looking to invade and kill you. With this in mind, place vision inside and around the jungle entrances to reduce their chances. If you spot them walking into your jungle, back off and ping your team.

    5. Lee Sin vs Elise

Elise is one of the more common counter picks to a Lee Sin. Not only can she match his gank pressure early, but she can also secure neutral objectives such as the Scuttle Crab, Dragons and Rift Heralds easier compared to him.

4 tips to counter Lee Sin as Elise

    • As both Elise and Lee Sin are based on the early game, aggressively contest vision and control of the river to minimise the Lee Sin snowballing.
    • Switch to spider in prediction to his Q as this will make your spiders take the skill shot.
    • Le Sin tends to gank heavily in the early game along with having creative lane ganks so be aware and track LeeSin to react when he does gank which could be a counter gank or an invade.
    • Try and use your human E while LeeSin is using his second part of his Q to maximise the chances of hitting it.

    Conclusion

Lee Sin is one of the most popular Junglers around. It’s very important that you learn how to play against him to increase your chances of winning the game.
